TETFund said it had taken proactive steps to address issues related to distressed projects.
He said the forum would enable them to speak with one voice on their aspirations and challenges, particularly on insecurity.
It demanded the outcome of research supported by the state government, being handled by the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).
He stressed the need for a robust collaboration between the Kano government and the agency to ensure improved education delivery.
The federal colleges of agriculture said their demands to be included in the scheme was to aid their rapid development.
TETFund has allocated N30 billion for disbursement to six universities, six polytechnics and six colleges of education under its 2023 special high-impact intervention.
He further said that the position of the Senate President was not based on religion.
“TETFund granted special intervention of about N1 billion to the institution, which will be used in equipping the laboratories and the two departments.”
The chairman said the ongoing struggle by the union is to salvage the university system from total collapse.
“It is expected to enhance Nigeria’s capability to be better equipped towards meeting the target of ending open defecation by 2025.”
