He said Nigeria’s security landscape had become increasingly complex due to insurgency, terrorism, banditry, cyber warfare, organised crime and resource-based conflicts.
The COAS said troops had recorded notable successes in the fight against terrorism, insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, oil theft and other criminal activities.
He thanked the personnel for making the supreme sacrifice for the safety of Nigerians.
He said the Nigerian Army exists because of the sacrifices and dedication of its soldiers.
Mr Shaibu is expected to participate in activities marking Liberia’s 69th Armed Forces Day.
He said the project represents a significant leap in strengthening officers’ operational planning capabilities.
He assured Nigerians that the army remained committed to protecting lives.
She commended the trainers and project leaders for nurturing the graduates into skilled professionals.
“We are out, fully deployed and tackling the menace head-on,” he said.
Mr Oluyede said that the Nigerian Army would continue to appreciate the collective efforts of both states and federal government.
