Mr Igori said the offences contravened the provisions of Section 484 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
The trio pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor alleged that Bello exhumed Mrs Akinbo’s body from Saint Andrews Anglican Church Cemetery in Awa-Ijebu, Ogun State, for ritual purposes.
Mr Isaac said that the defendants were apprehended by residents of the area, who later reported the matter to the police.
The accused stole N250,000 from an offering box and 50 litres of diesel worth N50,000.
According to the counsel, at the time of the robbery, they were armed with a big stick, club, stone, cutlasses and gun.
They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The suspects and others still at large, were on December 21, 2022, caught dealing in cannabis at the Kaduna-Abuja road.
The stolen flat-screen TV, stabiliser and other valuables are valued at N1.4 million.
The money was proceeds of their sales within three years, and was discovered when the company’s accounts were audited.
