Mr Danmadami said the troops achieved the feat during an encounter with the bandits at Birnin Tsaba, Tsanu, Lamba, Gabas, Gidan Kaso, and Dumburum Forest.
The army’s chief of operations, Taoreed Lagbaja, said the troops would be Nigeria’s Company 2 Stabilisation Mission in the ECOWAS-support mission in Guinea Bissau.
But speaking to journalists on Thursday, Mr Danmadami said the proponents of such agitation should immediately stop the idea.
In spite of the high expectations of the elections, we have cause to be concerned about the conduct of elections in some polling stations.
Mr Danmadami said the troops had continued the war against oil theft and illegal refineries and other criminal activities through aggressive raids and clearance operations.
Mr Danmadami said this at a bi-weekly news conference on the operations of the armed forces on Thursday in Abuja.
Mr Danmadami further said that the air component of Operation Hadin Kai conducted a series of air interdiction operations at terrorists hideout.
ECOWAS said it was identifying with Nigeria as a member state during the elections.
The president said his regime “will continue to confront all forms of banditry, criminality, terrorism and insurgency in the land.”
Mr Alokan said despite various sensitisation people’s attitude to a hygienic environment is still poor.
