Over 1,600 industrial weeping and straight sewing machines were lost in the mid-afternoon fire disaster that struck the popular market.
The returnees, who arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 4:29 a.m., included 79 males, 460 females and three infants.
Residents were warned to be on high alert or better still relocate some of their properties pending the release period.
The returnees brought back comprised 46 male adults, 62 female adults, two male and six female children, as well as four female and six male infants.
The returnees were returned to the country through a voluntary repatriation programme.
The returnees includes 100 male adults, 30 female adults and 10 children (six female and four male).
