Governor Dapo Abiodun approved the work-free day to enable civil and public servants to participate fully in the local government elections.
Ogun residents have been warned residents living in flood-prone areas to relocate to safer locations or higher elevations ahead of the looming flood disaster.
She disclosed that over 80,000 households would benefit from the exercise in 192 wards and 2,681 communities across Ogun.
Ms Coker said the programme was initiated “to improve the state’s maternal mortality index”.
“We hereby urge the public to report any suspicious locally brewed alcoholic drink to the appropriate authorities or NAFDAC,” she said.
Dr Tomi Coker said that the move was informed by an unprofessional prescription by a certain medical doctor in the social media space.
