The statistics from INEC also revealed that 42 per cent of the voters are youth between 18 and 34, while those aged 35 to 49 represent 40 per cent.
Justice Zubar also held that the appellant’s case was statute-barred, having been instituted outside the 14 days allowed by law as a pre-election matter.
Mr Ologunagba said the PDP had engaged in vigorous, issue-based and people-driven campaigns in the three states.
The council said the party’s lawyers “are very well on top of the situation as we expect victory” at the Court of Appeal. “We will win,” it stated.
He regretted that land and buildings were caving into the encroaching rivers causing loss of property and livelihood.
“Don’t be dismayed about the ruling; just be prepared to come out en masse on November 11 to cast your vote for our party, the APC,” he said.
The elders posited that Justice Donatus Okorowo erred in law in his pronouncement that Mr Sylva had taken the oaths of office as a governor twice.
APC says it plans to challenge Monday’s disqualification of its Bayelsa governorship candidate, Timipre Sylva, from the November 11 poll.
