The driver of a Toyota Hiace bus conveying 18 passengers was on top speed, lost control of the wheels and had a flat tyre, before bursting into flames.
The lone crash involved a Toyota Hiace bus conveying 18 persons, including the driver.
The accident was caused by road obstruction by a Mack truck and excessive speed and loss of control by a Toyota Hiace bus driver.
Mr Biu cautioned road users to avoid excessive speeding, wrongful overtaking and other bad driving behaviours.
“Twenty-two people were involved in the fatal road crash, which included 21 male adults and one female adult,” FRSC said.
“When the two vehicles collided, seven persons died instantly and five persons sustained injuries.”
The two vehicles involved in the accident are a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number, MKA 567 XZ and an Iveco articulated vehicle marked XF 854 KTN.
