This represented a depreciation by 0.15 per cent, compared to the N461 it exchanged rate on Monday.
The open indicative rate closed at N461.35 to the dollar on Monday.
A total of N117.63 million was traded at the official Investors and Exporters window on Tuesday.
Market capitalisation went up to N26.816 trillion as against N26.682 trillion recorded on Wednesday.
The market loss was driven by price depreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
In all, investors bought and sold 238.94 million shares worth N2.95 billion in 3,947 deals.
Seplat drove the gainers’ chart in percentage terms, improving by 10 percent to close at N544.50 per share.
