According to it, the SEC unanimously condemned such actions as undemocratic.
Civil servants in Delta on Monday complied with the directives of the NLC and TUC to begin an indefinite strike.
The Kogi State CP told the NLC that the command was aware of the nationwide protest scheduled for today.
The labour leaders in the state stated this on Tuesday after complying with the directive of its national leadership on the strike action.
Through the National Industrial Court, the Nigerian justice ministry issued the labour leadership a summons on contempt of court for protesting.
“The meeting sympathises with the workers and masses of our dear State and calls for calm and await further directives,” they added in the communique.
“Payment of gratuities to state retirees from April 2014 and local government workers from 2012 is still pending.”

“We viewed any attempt under any guise to further impoverish the living standard of workers and all vulnerable groups in Ekiti state as inhuman and unacceptable.”
