Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has denied that the two rockets fired towards Türkiye originated from Iran.
He said 5,000 Nigerians are currently living in Turkey.
“Unfortunately, the FETO terrorist organisation still maintains its activities in Nigeria, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare,” said the Turkish ambassador.
Ayse Barim was detained on Friday, and several actors and actresses whom she represented were summoned to the police to give testimony.
Nigeria and Turkey have bilateral relations in the areas of education, health and military collaboration to fight terrorism and insecurity.
The suspects include two active-duty officers, 28 military students, and two “private imams.”
Sixty one of the detainees are said to have links to the U.S.-based Islamic cleric Fethullah Gulen.
