Mr Obaseki says PDP has the sole right to determine the party’s candidate for the Edo governorship election slated for September 21, 2024.
“I still urge them to bring the ideas in their manifestos for us to develop and make the state prosperous,” he said.
The returnees said they had all agreed to return to the “mainstream” and thanked the governor and party members for the reception.
In separate judgments, Justices Usman Mohammed and Saliu Zubayr held that the petitioners failed to prove their cases for the elections to be overturned.
He also told Nigerians to never lose their voice or let themselves be cowed into silence.
He said reelecting Mr Uzodimma would enable him to consolidate the good work he was known for.
A panel of appellate jurists affirmed the February 2023 declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election on Wednesday night.

NLC said it would declare a nationwide strike on August 2 if the Tinubu government did not meet its demands.
