“I am not running this election because I am from the South or Central or North. I am running because I want to win,” said Ms Ekwunife.
The party said the decision was reached after a reconciliatory meeting with concerned party operatives from the South-West.
The sale of the forms was scheduled to begin on March 1 and close on March 10.
The PDP spokesperson Kola Ologbondiyan told Peoples Gazette that “the party does not believe that there is any issue.”
The governor said that the Southwest PDP was ready to hold its congress and produce largely acceptable zonal executives.
