XEJet Ltd has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the University of Abuja to establish the XEJet Centre for Aerospace and Space Engineering.
The institution is now known as Yakubu Gowon University.

The council promised to “impose either a Withdrawal of Accreditation or Non-Recognition of graduates of such programmes for registration as engineering practitioners.”
