The United Nations resident and humanitarian coordinator, Mohamed Fall, has commended Nigeria for playing a key role in peacekeeping, security, and stability worldwide.
“The UN in Nigeria stands with filmmakers. We invest in your talent. We amplify your voice. We support your journey,” said Mr Fall.
Mr Fall gave the charge in his address on Monday night in Abuja.
The conference, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the UN’s founding, aims to promote peace, tolerance, diplomacy, and consensus-building among youths.
The Nigerian military had achieved what it called kinetic success in fighting Boko Haram.
