The coordinator explained that the budget would be funded through multi-stakeholder contributions to enhance the livelihoods of farmers
Governor Francis Nwifuru, in a message, said IFAD had been instrumental to the progress recorded by the government in assisting farmers.
He also commended the governor for flagging off the construction of roads that would open up access to farms across the state.
He noted that the committee would promote Governor Francis Nwifuru’s campaign mantra in the agricultural sector of embarking on practical agriculture.
The items include 500 bags of fertilisers, 10 tricycles, 55 water pumps, 115 knapsack sprayers, five fufu pounders, 50 seed planters and five rice milling machines.
