The naval chief urged personnel to remain professional, disciplined and respectful of human rights.
Mr Okoloagu stated that the personnel also dismantled another active illegal refining site at Obodo Omadino.
Mr Ogalla pledged his commitment to continue to support the personnel.
The navy spokesman said that a big wooden boat laden with 40,000 litres of crude oil was seized in Rivers State on March 8.

He said the FOB intercepted the boat on February 5 while on a routine night patrol around the Ebughu Creek general area of Mbo local government.
The commanding officer said the suspects’ intention was to smuggle the product from Nigeria into the Republic of Cameroun.
