The Federal University of Transportation, Daura, has organised a two-day capacity-building training for officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps Daura command.
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund has sponsored 185 teaching and non-teaching staff members of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, for training programmes.
Mr Ezemonye explained that in all, 862 candidates received first degrees.
Mr Adeniyi stressed that PR officers must be agile, tech-savvy, and adept at using modern tools to shape public discourse in the digital age.
“In our profound act of corporate responsibility, we extended health services to 17 neighbouring host communities,” said the VC.
She said the construction of the building would commence immediately.
The VC said, “The governor has also approved 100 additional hectares of land for the extension of the institution’s campus located along Gaya road.’’
Mr Abodunrin hailed Kogi State governor, Ahmed Ododo, for quickly responding to the incident.
The VC sought support from stakeholders toward the needs of the institution.
“Let me use this opportunity to implore all our graduating participants to make use of what they have learnt in the school,” he said.
