Governors of Nasarawa, Imo, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kogi, Gombe, Lagos, Benue, Yobe and other APC-controlled states received Mr Shettima at the Asaba International Airport.
Mr Tinubu urged Muslims not to return to the old and unacceptable paths but to remain steadfast in practicing the righteous virtues.
Mr Tinubu thanked the guests for their presence, payers and contributions to the country’s development.
“We want to fulfill one of our mandates, which is to research and reflect on matters of national interest,” he said.
Mr Tinubu said the academy would focus on skills development, employment, leadership, and civil engagement.
