Evans and ex-soldier Victor Aduba were jailed for kidnapping businessman Sylvanus Ahamonou and collecting $420,000 ransom from his family.
Evans is facing four kidnapping charges at various high courts of Lagos State.
Evans and his accomplice allegedly killed one Ngozi Chijioke and attempted to kidnap and kill chairman of the Young Shall Grow Motors.
“You do not know what I encountered in the hands of Abba Kyari and his boys. My eyes saw hell.”
Narrating his ordeal via zoom, Sylvanus Ahamonu said “My hands and feet were handcuffed for two months and I was blindfolded for that period. I nearly died.”
One of the witnesses, the younger brother of the kidnap victim, said he would prefer to testify via zoom.
