The police spokesperson said the suspevts were arrested at an identified hideout in Awka in the early hours of Sunday.
The suspects, during interrogation, confessed to being members of the Vikings Confraternity, said the police.
Mr Edafe said, “He said he belongs to Vikings confraternity and was vying for number one position.’’
The suspects were arrestedofr various offences, including armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearm, attempted murder, and cult activities among others.
Mr Ndukwe said that the command recovered five firearms, including an AK-47 rifle, 10 live cartridges and one empty shell of 7.62mm calibre of ammunition.
