Speaking on the conviction, the Director General of NAPTIP, Binta Adamu-Bello, commended the judiciary for the landmark judgment.
Ms Adamu-Bello stated, “The trafficker goes after boys and girls who have one skill or the other, but preferably computer and IT skills, and who do not drink alcohol or smoke.”
Ms Adamu-Bello described NSC as a critical partner that would assist in no small measure in combatting human trafficking.
Mr Abubakar commended the D-G of NAPTIP for her timely response in rescuing the girl.
She said the agency has intensified its manhunt for other members of the trafficking gang.

Mr Adekoye said an FCT High Court sitting in Kubwa, convicted and sentenced Mr Danraka to life imprisonment on Monday.
The affected personnel were said to have demanded and received bribes from suspects and their relatives as well as leaked confidential information to suspects.
