Russia is insinuating that it will use nuclear weapons against Kyiv if Ukraine attempts to retake annexed Ukrainian regions.
Presidential advisor Siti Ruhaini confirmed that Mr Widodo had been told Messrs Putin and Xi would come.
“After the terrorist attacks in Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Chasiv Yar, etc., the pressure must be increased, not decreased,” Mr Zelensky said.
“Kyiv has no interest in any other form of partnership with the EU short of full membership, an idea suggested by French President Emmanuel Macron.”
The call came as the UK confirmed it is joining the U.S. in supplying Ukraine with long-range multiple launch rocket systems.
Mr Zelensky is calling for stricter sanctions, including an oil embargo and complete withdrawal of foreign companies.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has scheduled to receive UN Secretary-General António Guterres on Tuesday in Moscow.
Since the start of the invasion by Russia, the U.S. has provided $3.4 billion in defence support to Ukraine.
Mr Antonio Guterres is expected to travel to Russia from Turkey for his earlier slated meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
