The seized drugs comprised 9,091.974kg of cannabis sativa, 0.004kg of heroin, 0.315kg of cocaine, 2.949kg of methamphetamine, and 301.852kg of tramadol.
Mr Marwa stated that the NDLEA also secured 14, 225 convictions.
The commander said that operatives of the command seized two vehicles linked to alleged drug offences.
Mr Babafemi said the drugs were intercepted along the Zaki-Biam/ Wukari road on Monday, November 3, while the driver was arrested.
He said NDLEA will create safe and confidential channels of communication with traditional rulers for prompt intelligence-sharing.
NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi said 160,200 bottles of codeine-based syrup were discovered in a 40ft container on Thursday, September 4.
Mr Babafemi said NDLEA operatives intercepted the drugs at the Port Harcourt Ports Complex, Onne, Rivers and the Apapa Seaport, Lagos.
Officials said they received tips about the consignment that turned out to be credible.
The agency said it was getting to the root of the problems associated with drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
Mr Marwa said that out of the 32,000, NDLEA secured 9,034 convictions, with over 12,000 other cases going on in court.
