A total of 2,483 compressed blocks of skunk and 247 bags of the same substance, all weighing 5,442 kilogrammes, were recovered, and five suspects were arrested.
Mr Marwa stressed that tackling substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking was crucial to national security.
The NDLEA chairman, Buba Marwa, said this during the opening ceremony of a conference for Nigeria Governors Spouses on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said that the suspect was arrested at the boarding gate of the Abuja airport on Sunday, Dec. 22.Â
The NDLEA narcotics commander said 112 suspected drug users, including five females and 107 males, were counselled and rehabilitated in Ogun in five months.
Mr Marwa said the sheer bulk of the drugs destroyed was a reminder of the magnitude of the drug problem in the country.
Mr Babafemi stated that the farm measured 2.4 hectares and was destroyed, adding that 92kg of already processed skunk were also recovered there.
In an interview on Friday in Abuja, the official said the agency had intensified raids of drug joints in the capital and made several arrests.
NDLEA said it secured the conviction of 37 drug peddlers and users between January and March.
The statement stated that NAFDAC Director-General, Mojisola Adeyeye, described narcotics and psychotropic substances as indispensable for relieving pain and suffering.
