The union accused the Dangote Group of violating a peace agreement brokered by the federal government.
Mr Dan-zaki said that NUPENG fed on extortion, remitting zero taxes to the Federal Government.
The former union leaders, including Lucky Osesua, a one-time national chairman, were arraigned before the FCT High Court.
Mr Aporegha said the late Kokori was a dedicated defender, promoter and fighter for workers’ rights.
“The trade union movement will sorely miss him.’’
The statement directed tanker drivers to protest against NUPENG and police interference and harassment of their leaders.
NUPENG further ordered employees at gas stations and depots to abstain from any unlawful activity that could contribute to fuel shortage.
“We promise to reciprocate these commendable efforts with hitch-free and effective distribution of petroleum products during the forthcoming festive period.’’
