Mr Chang was convicted of conspiring to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection with his role in a $2 billion international fraud.
“The death of Nigerians in South Africa, particularly under police custody, has become a recurring issue that needs to be stopped,” the NICASA president-general said.
He said Africa CDC was ramping up its response to mpox by expanding laboratory capacity, deploying rapid response teams, and intensifying vaccination campaigns.

“The decision lacks the basic foundations of justice and objectivity and is based on flimsy pretexts unrelated to reality,” the Sudanese government said.

The new plan will benefit an estimated 607,000 Venezuelans, 232,000 Salvadorans, 103,700 Ukrainians, and 1,900 Sudanese nationals.
