He said they were working with the respective farmers’ associations to register more dry-season farmers.
”We are fully committed towards massive wheat production in the upcoming dry seasons farming for local and foreign export actions.”
The ministry also distributed one cartoon of day-old chicks and feeds to each participant.
He said the approach adopted by the company aligned with his administration’s move to make food available to Nigerians and advance agricultural growth in the state.
Nigeria can produce eight million metric tonnes of fertiliser every year.
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday directed an immediate plan of action to stem the tide of impending flooding across the country.
The programme is to enhance the productivity and export potential of beneficiaries in the manufacturing and processing sectors within the state.
He also said that the ministry was working toward providing potable water for drinking, sanitation, and irrigation.
”This will be part of the main agenda at the summit and the NCAFS meetings in November,” he said.
“This is to make the state a green hub of the nation and attract local and international guests,” he said.
