The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) said that the global snail farming industry was estimated to be worth about $2.1 billion.
He said that the association was concerned over the threat to food security in the country.
Ms Toure-Litse said the grant would increase young people’s capacity to engage in agriculture value chains and food production.
“The singular action has reduced Nigeria’s consumption of petrol by 33 per cent, reduced the level of emission generated by Nigerians.”
The Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs) would be established in each of the three senatorial districts of the state.
Mr Umakhihe said all the technical departments in the ministry take soil issues seriously in pursuing their vision to prevent soil pollution and degradation.

Coconut, he said, is a source of nutrition, a versatile crop, and a source of sustainable livelihood for millions.
The zonal manager attributed the shortage of extension workers in the zone to retirement.
“It is a clear Russian attempt to weaponise the food shortage on the global market in exchange for recognition of some, if not all, of the captured territories.”
