A former transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi, has called for significant investment in agriculture to ensure food security in Nigeria.
The chairman of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria in Kaduna, Kabiru Salihu, says the association has registered about 2,700 farmers.
He announced that fertiliser would be sold at ₦25,000 per bag.
He said the seasonal prediction should serve as an early warning tool for farmers.
The review will cover all 33 national and higher national diploma agricultural curricula and 32 national occupational standards.
He said the price hike is due to insecurity, rising transportation costs, and delayed local ranching initiatives.
Mr Kyari called on stakeholders to work together to unlock the full potential of the sector.
Mr Adepoju said that the true value of space technology was in translating data into practical solutions with measurable impact.
He emphasised the need for farmers to know when to commence and end farming activities.Â
