Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar, immediately follows Ramadan, marking the commencement of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
An Islamic cleric, Shuaib Agbarere, on Sunday advised Muslims faithful to prioritise piety and religion in choosing spouses.
She said the Islamic legal system taught Muslims everything about life, including how couples should have intimacy and train their children.
The presidential spokesman added that Mr Tinubu would continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.
Mr Abubakar reminded the Muslims of the need to be selfless in service to God and humanity.
“This year’s hajj preparation is one of the most difficult and peculiar ones.’’
He said the decision was made in response to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) ‘s recent announcement regarding adjustments to the 2024 Hajj fare.
