The Institute of Human Virology Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s health system by aligning its interventions with national health priorities.
Nigeria is strengthening antimicrobial resistance surveillance by focusing on quality assurance and ‘One Health’ integration under its National Action Plan.
The vaccines include 200,000 doses of CBPP vaccine, 30,000 doses of Newcastle disease vaccine, and 3,000 doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine.
It pledged to sustain investment in the hospital to meet the minimum standard expected of a modern health facility.
“Many patients do not die because treatment is impossible. They die because diagnosis comes too late due to inability to pay for tests,” Mr Bagana said.
“Deepfake abuse is abuse, and there is nothing fake about the harm it causes. When a child’s image or identity is used, that child is directly victimised,” UNICEF warned.
The commendation followed support for the council and 13 nursing and midwifery training institutions in further transforming nursing and midwifery education.
