“The sanitation exercise is useful, but the waste management system must expand to keep pace with the population,” she said.
The environment commissioner stated that the exercise targeted street begging activities in different parts of Lagos.
“They are currently undergoing profiling and immigration-related checks to determine their legal status and whether any laws have been violated,” the source said.
