The victims were kidnapped on July 29 at Aba area of Ogbomoso and were later killed by their abductors on August 2 after payment of the N5 million ransom.
Tobi Omomoyela Nifemi, best known as ‘Peteru’, died at age 35. He was known for mimicking people with his skit.
The money was recovered by the corps’ anti-fraud unit, while the cases were resolved by the peace and conflict management unit through alternative dispute resolution.
The FRSC said it recorded 609 crashes from January to November and attributed the major cause of the crashes to speeding, wrong overtaking and tyre burst.
The filling stations were accused of “under dispensing by one litre” and selling for as high as N280 per litre.
The accused are Abolaji Abdulazeez, aka BJ and Adewale Abolarinwa, aka Oro, and others still at large.
If found guilty of rape, he is liable to the maximum of life imprisonment, with, or without caning.
The incident happened at Apata Junction opposite Oando Filling Station, destroying many houses and shops.
Mr Jaiyeoba said that the total Duty Paid Value (DPV) of the seized items was put at N192.2 million.
The police had charged Mr Rasaq, a resident of the Aba area, Harmony Quarters, Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan, with one count of murder.
