At least 36 military officers were reportedly killed in an ambush in Niger by a yet-to-be-identified terrorist group that shot down a Nigerian Air Force surveillance helicopter.

“I lost my son to goskolo. He was hooked on it, and it killed him,” she said.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that these cattle and sheep came from Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi…These cattle are currently in our custody for necessary action.”
The police said two suspects were taken into custody.
