Further hearing on the case at the Kano High Court was fixed for June 13, while the Federal High Court adjourned the case on the same matter until June 4, 2024.
The police command in Kano State has assured the state residents of adequate security in the face of the tussle over the emirate seat.
Mr Gwarzo said this while addressing journalists at the Government House in Kano on Monday morning.

A statement by Mr Yusuf’s media aide on Saturday in Kano said the order became necessary because Mr Bayero was “creating tension in the state”.
On Thursday, Mr Yusuf reinstated Mr Sanusi while merging all emirates Mr Ganduje balkanised into five, namely, Gaya, Bichi, Rano, Kano and Karaye, into one.
Mr Yusuf said, “Sanusi is a victim of the immediate past administration, who is now being restored to his rightful position to lead the people.”
