The NHFSS commander said most of the complaints were on animal theft, phone snatching, rape, kidnapping, women trafficking, among others.
The service’s public relations officer, Saminu Abdullahi, said two persons died, while property worth N43.6 million was destroyed by fire during the period.
Some residents were forced to trek long distances to reach their various destinations because few commercial vehicles were on the roads.
The respondents in the suit are the APC National Working Committee, the party’s State Executive Committee in Kano, and Mr Ganduje.
The leader further said that the bill was passed because the state had been battling with different health issues, including HIV
The commission’s chairman, Justice Farouk Adamu, stated this in his inaugural speech on Monday in Kano.

“We spend N400 million monthly on diesel, N387 million on chemicals, while electricity bills take N280 million,” said Kano’s water resources commissioner.
