The army said the devices were recovered during a clearance operation by troops of the 24 Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, in the Dikwa general area.
The initiative is a joint effort of the WFP, the Borno government, and the federal government to support IDPs, returnees, and host communities.
Mr Tinubu, in a statement on Sunday, expressed sadness over the recent attacks in Borno and Plateau, as well as the explosion in Kano.

Mr Zulum said the non-kinetic measures taken to combat insecurity in the state had also been very productive.
“It reinforces NAF’s resolve to degrade terrorist capabilities and enhance security in the North-East,” it said.
The support will span across Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and Taraba states to enhance food production and climate resilience.
Mr Zulum commended the gallantry, resilience and sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces in the fight against insurgency.
Before departing Abuja, Mr Shettima joined other Muslim faithful to observe Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the national Eid ground.
Aliyu Yakubu, a rice seller in Makurdi, said weeks ahead of the celebration, he was optimistic that he would make sales during the season.
