Mr Zulum said that since the flood had also affected farmlands and businesses, farmers and business owners would be supported.
The commissioner added that the proactive measures the state and other stakeholders took were responsible for the zero mortality recorded.
The project would be implemented under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES).
The U.S. government has offered humanitarian assistance to victims of the devastating flooding, which recently occurred in Maiduguri and elsewhere.
