The African Democratic Congress has ratified the National Working Committee led by Sen. David Mark to steer the party affairs for the next four years.
Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South of Kaduna say the party remains a formidable platform for political contest ahead of the 2027 elections.
“It is both disappointing and telling to see Atiku Abubakar politicise the recent airstrikes at Jilli Market,” said Sunday Dare.

The African Democratic Congress has expelled Nafiu Bala and others from the party, citing alleged anti-party activities.
Mr Akpabio also said the adjustment in diplomatic staffing levels should not be linked to Nigeria’s current political environment.
When the present government came into being, our poverty rate was 41.6% and 8 million people. Today, we are 63% and 140 million people, he said.
He said the president is still repeating the same slogan three years into his tenure without delivering on his promises.
Justice Emeka Nwite said that, though the facts of the case were not in dispute, it was glaringly clear that an appeal had been entered at the apex court.
“There is no doubt APC will find its way out of government in 2027,” he said.
