“You are the lame, Mr President. I will never say publicly what I’ve not said privately,” Mr Bakare stated.
“We commend the responsible conduct of peaceful protesters and assure the public of our unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security across the state,” the police said.
“Our collective silence or indifference may only serve to embolden the enemies of peace and national unity in Nigeria,” he said.
