Two major electricity unions have suspended their planned nationwide strike following the intervention of the federal government.
The police confirmed the development in a statement on Thursday in Akure.
This was noted in a statement by the chapter’s chairman, Idris Adeniran, on Thursday.
The group said that some patients, especially those in rural areas, travel more than 30 kilometres to access TB, malaria, and HIV services.
