Mr Zulum promised not to allow children affected by conflicts to be recruited as child soldiers by terrorists.
“I’m warning for the last time. I’ll arrest you. I’ll lock you up. I don’t care. No man of God will pray for you and succeed,” said Mr Ibiyeomie.
“If the demands are met, it will be resolved, but I can’t tell you when the strike will be called off,” said the JUSUN president.
Judges, staff, lawyers, and litigants were denied access as business activities in and around the court were paralysed.
JUSUN had directed its members in all federal courts nationwide and other judicial institutions to withdraw their services from Monday.
They maintained that house chores should be seen as shared responsibilities rather than solely reserved duties for women.
The unions are demanding, among other things, the implementation of the requisite salary structure for academic and non-academic staff.
The group stated that the country’s pension fund assets reached an all-time high of N19.53 trillion in the first quarter.
This includes more than 1.12 billion people living in slums or informal settlements, while an additional 300 million face absolute homelessness, lacking any form of stable shelter.
