JUSUN had directed its members in all federal courts nationwide and other judicial institutions to withdraw their services from Monday.
They maintained that house chores should be seen as shared responsibilities rather than solely reserved duties for women.
The unions are demanding, among other things, the implementation of the requisite salary structure for academic and non-academic staff.
The group stated that the country’s pension fund assets reached an all-time high of N19.53 trillion in the first quarter.
This includes more than 1.12 billion people living in slums or informal settlements, while an additional 300 million face absolute homelessness, lacking any form of stable shelter.
The governor said this move was aimed at restoring dignity and financial stability to the state’s workforce and retirees.
“The governor has pledged to settle all outstanding pensions and gratuities of civil servants before the end of his tenure,” Mr Iliya said.
Meanwhile, the West African Examinations Council has apologised to candidates, schools and parents for the unsavoury situation.
“I shudder to think of what would have happened if certain states which were recently plunged into political crisis had recourse to their police units,” said Mr Daudu.
“The delay in prosecution is responsible for the continuous stay of the suspects in detention longer than necessary,” the military commander admitted.
