Mr Ogbu was discharged and acquitted following an appeal by the complainant, Monday Haruna, on compassionate grounds.
The judge adjourned the case to September 22 for ruling.
He also inaugurated 18 completed township roads executed by the Bauchi State government.
The suspect allegedly obtained approximately N2.5 million from 18 fellowship members under the pretence of organising a government-sponsored pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
“The election must be a genuine contest of ideas, policies, programmes and popularity, while the freely expressed will of Osun people determines the outcome,” Mr Dantalle said.
The court adjourned the case until September 2 for mention.
“We are taking the governance to the grassroots so that whatever is from the top will also go down to the bottom,” he said.
The suspension, which took effect from June 25, 2026, will run until June 24, 2028.
The governor described Mr Adeosun as “a respected businessman and devoted Christian who lived a life of faith, service and commitment to his family.”
Mr Salihu said the gesture was part of his humanitarian support, intended to help patients receive services at a subsidised rate, going beyond politics.
