1000 Ondo residents benefit from Tinubu’s support group medical outreach

About 1,000 residents of Ondo State on Thursday benefited from a free medical outreach organised by a support group for President Bola Tinubu, Grassroots Mobilisation for Tinubu.
The event, titled “Jigi Asiwaju,” was held at the Methodist Primary School, Okitipupa in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.
The programme featured free eye tests, medication, and distribution of free eyeglasses, particularly for the elderly.
Speaking at the event, Director-General, GMT, Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, said that the free medical outreach was to complement the efforts of the President at the grassroots.
He added that the GMT would be touring the entire state to spread the “Jigi Asiwaju” programme to residents at the grassroots for them to benefit.
Mr Yusuf-Ogunleye said, “Tinubu has been doing well since he assumed office as the President. On our own part, we just want to complement the efforts of the President for residents at the grassroots to feel his impact. We have done that of Ondo Central, we have moved to the Ondo South and we will move the Ondo North for more residents to benefit from the free medical outreach.’’
A beneficiary, Felicia Oguntola, expressed happiness for receiving free eye tests and free eyeglasses, which she said would go a long way to assist her sight.
Also, Pamilerin Ayeku thanked the organisers for the free hypertension test and free drugs given to him.
