11 killed in Russian strikes across Ukraine: Zelensky

At least 11 people have been killed in Russian attacks across Ukraine, including six who died in ballistic missile strikes on a drone technology exhibition near Kyiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed in a post on X on Friday that dozens of people were injured in the Russian missile strike.
“As of now, dozens of people are known to have been injured. It is also known that, unfortunately, six people have been killed,” he said.
Mr Zelensky extended his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, saying efforts were ongoing to clarify the circumstances and the fate of the people.
“There are also casualties in Sloviansk due to strikes by aerial bombs. Five people have been killed,” he said.
On Friday evening, Mr Zelensky said Ukraine had received intelligence indicating that Russia was preparing another massive attack on the country.
“The strike may take place today – we have preliminary information that it could happen within the next 48 hours,” he said.
Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuri Ihnat told Ukrainian television that the attack involved three ballistic missiles, only one of which was intercepted.
Russia confirmed the attack, with its Defence Ministry saying high-precision, long-range weapons were used against a site where drones intended for attacks on civilian targets in Russia were being demonstrated.
