13-year-old boy threatened to kill four-year-old girl after defiling her near Bosso Primary School: Police

The Niger State police command says it has detained a 13-year-old boy for allegedly defiling a four-year-old girl.
The command’s spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed on Friday that the suspect allegedly took the minor to a dilapidated building, where he sexually assaulted her on May 14, 2026.
“On 14th May 2026 at about 10 p.m., a report received at Bosso Division indicated that on the same date, at about 11 a.m., one 13-year-old, residing behind Bosso Primary School, took a four-year-old girl to a dilapidated building in the same area and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her, after which he threatened to kill her if she attempted to inform anyone,” he said.
Mr Abiodun said that following the report, the victim was immediately taken to the Police Clinic in Minna for medical examination.
“The suspect was also apprehended, and he confessed to the crime,” he added.
Mr Abiodun said the case is still under investigation and would soon be transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further action.
