130 people poisoned in Eastern Afghanistan
A total of 130 people have been poisoned in eastern Afghanistan’s Khost province, provincial government spokesman Mustaghfir Gurbaz said Thursday.
The accident occurred in Shamsi village of Jaji Maidan district on Wednesday evening, the official said.
He said medical teams rushed to the area to provide medical aid to the affected individuals.
An investigation was launched to determine the reason for the accident, the official said.
