2027: Gov Sani rallies support for Tinubu

Governor Uba Sani has counselled public office holders from Kaduna State to work towards President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, by mobilising towards a successful presidential campaign flag off on October 24.
The Governor who made this known at a high-level strategic meeting, also charged political appointees at both state and federal level to strengthen coordination of political activities, towards the success of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the coming elections.
Governor Uba Sani pointed out that ‘’President Tinubu has demonstrated an unprecedented commitment to Kaduna State through transformative investments in infrastructure, education and economic development.
‘’Such extraordinary commitment deserves more than expressions of gratitude; it demands collective responsibility to consolidate these gains and sustain the momentum of development.’’
“We must translate our appreciation into decisive political action. I charge every federal appointee and stakeholder to close ranks, deepen grassroots engagement and work towards delivering a resounding landslide victory for President Tinubu in 2027,” the Governor stated.
Governor Uba Sani cited the Kaduna Light Rail, Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Highway, Kaduna–Birnin Gwari Road, Kaduna–Kano Rail Project and investments in federal tertiary institutions underscore the President’s commitment to the development of Kaduna State.
He emphasised that sustained collaboration between federal appointees and the State Government is critical in translating these investments into lasting economic opportunities, improved security and better living conditions for the people.
The high-level strategic meeting was attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Malam Shehu Dikko; Chairmen and Members of Federal Boards; Heads of Parastatals; Federal Commissioners; and other key stakeholders.
The meeting resolved to work closely with the APC leadership and key stakeholders to consolidate and coordinate political structures across the 23 local government areas in the state.
The participants expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for choosing Kaduna for flag off of his re-election campaign, his administration’s significant infrastructural investments and the appointment of Kaduna indigenes into strategic federal positions.
The political appointees described the President’s decision to host the campaign flag-off in Kaduna as a recognition of the state’s strategic political importance, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring a successful event.
They also resolved to strengthen stakeholder coordination before, during and after the elections, with emphasis on peaceful participation, effective engagement and post-election reconciliation.
The public office holders pledged to serve as worthy ambassadors of Kaduna State, leveraging their respective positions to support the policies and programmes of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, by ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach communities across the state.
They renewed commitment to political unity, stronger federal-state collaboration and sustained support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and Kaduna State’s development priorities.
